Sea Slugs & Peacock Spiders will be featured on my solo exhibit wall at the Marin Society of Artists (MSA) from May 23-August 14, 2017. These are part of my “Toxic Tango” series. I thought it would be fun to paint collections of creatures that are both beautiful and venomous – because Nature can be twisted like that. The Peacock Spiders in my painting are huge, but the actual creatures are as tiny as your littlest fingernail and can’t hurt humans. The same can’t be said of all sea slugs, however.
The MSA gallery is located at 1515 3rd Street (at E Street), San Rafael, CA 94901 and is open Wed-Sun, Noon to 4 pm.
