One of the art groups to which I belong is the Golden Gate/Marin Artists, a local chapter of the National League of American Pen Women. We just installed a group Pen Women exhibit at the Fairfax Library for the month of April 2016. A post by a Library employee explains a bit about our group. (One of my pieces is featured in the post.) Not mentioned is the fact that each year our branch awards a scholarship to a female high school senior planning to continue studying art in college. Scholarship recipients have the opportunity of exhibiting with us in some of our group shows. I will be serving as President of our chapter for the next two years.
