22×30 watercolor
The first time I ever grew a purple lisianthus in my garden, I was amazed at how beautiful it was. I tried to capture the essence of it by painting it very blown up. Behind it, portions of a white lisianthus, morning glory and pink butterfly snapdragon can be seen.
Purple Lisianthus was published in The Watercolour Flower Aritist’s Bible. Claire Waite Brown, Chartwell Books, Quarto Publishing, London, 2007.
