Autumn colors inspired this poured acrylic painting, but it suggests undersea life rather than terrestrial foliage. In this imagined sea fan, gold and reds glimmer against a velvety background. The technique employed is a variation I developed of the “swipe” technique. No brushes are used, but many tiny pieces of torn damp paper towels are!
