I received several pieces of art-related good news today. First came notification that Deep Sea Dreams VI (pictured) was accepted into Marin Society of Artist’s national juried show, “Celebration of Art 2020“. A few hours later, I was informed that Jewel Garden had won an Honorable Mention in Marin Society of Artist’s member exhibit, “Summer Show 2020“. Finally, I found that my name and art are the very first to appear in a randomized list of almost 200 artists in Petaluma’s Virtual Art in the Park group gallery!
Due to the pandemic, all these exhibits are only online. “Celebration of Art 2020” can be seen from August 18, 2020 through October 14, 2020. “Summer Show 2020” can be seen from August 14 through October 7, 2020. Petaluma’s “Virtual Art in the Park” is online from August 1-September 1, 2020. And don’t forget about Marin Museum of Contemporary Art! Their annual fundraiser, “Altered Books Exhibit and Auction“, will be up from July 25, 2020 – August 29, 2020. My altered book art in the show is Spinoffs.
