Marin Baroque (the chamber choir & orchestra of which I am a member) will be performing its first opera this June: Acis and Galatea by Handel. It will be performed in the lovely outdoor courtyard of the First Presbyterian Church of San Anselmo on June 8 & 9, 2013 at 7:30 PM.
Since I will be vacationing in Italy until June 7, I won’t be a participant in this production. However, I do plan to attend the final performance. It should be a wonderfully charming event, and I’m really looking forward to seeing it!
Even though I won’t be singing in the opera, I did create all the publicity materials for it, as I have for each concert since the group’s inception. Below is the poster. You’ll have to attend the show to get the full program, though. Hope to see you there!
