I just returned from a choral tour in Croatia and Slovenia. Wonderful experience with a great group of singing friends! It was the Allan Petker Chorale, and included 20 singers plus about 10 non-singing spouses & relatives. We sang 5 concerts in several churches and a community hall, plus some unofficial singing just for ourselves in the cathedral in the island on Lake Bled as well as in the tiny chapel on a cliff overlooking the same lake. It was amazing.
I don’t usually like to take photos, but I did bring a new, very small Nikon along this time. Once I finished winnowing through 450 or so shots, I selected various elements that seemed interesting to use in a collage. This has kept me busy for the week since my return. I finally decided to call it “Phantom Memories”.
The full size of this digital piece is 11×17. I just had a print made, and will frame it to enter into a juried show titled “Poetry of Place” at Marin Society of Artists.
