Amethyst

Amethyst, my birthstone, is a semi-precious gemstone that comes in many shades of purple. I found that certain poured acrylic techniques really lend themselves to producing images that look like cut and polished stones and minerals. I have several others that are named after the minerals, stones or gems they resemble.
