This small painting is so evocative of Dragon trails and tails! Gorgeous blues and metallics swirl and curl in this abstract poured acrylic painting.

Shadow Dream is the third of four in this series of small poured acrylic paintings. I experimented with combining techniques of swiping, spinning, and adding modifications with a pointed stick in all of them. In this one, I started with a poured background in several very subtle hues instead of using a solid white or off-white background color. The other colors are the same as on the other three pieces in the series: blues, greens, gold, copper. In each case I used black as the swipe color.
