Common Pink Forester Butterfly

This gorgeous creature is the Common Pink Forester, Euphaedra xypete. It is an African butterfly of the Nymphalidae family. This watercolor shows the underside of the wings, which is more colorful than the top view. It is the second watercolor of a Forester Butterfly in my Solo Butterfly Series. It is framed under glass with a thin black inner border and a soft white mat in a blond frame.
