I am very excited to be part of a brand new music ensemble: Marin Baroque.
It consist of a chamber choir and period instrument orchestra.
This should be a wonderful, professional level addition to the Marin
music scene. For me it’s especially rewarding, as I get to sing as well
as contribute my artwork as the Resident Artist.
I am designing all our publicity materials (postcards, poster, ads, program, etc),
with Beautiful Beetles being the featured image. I altered the original image to replace
a few of the insects with instruments, and the poster includes a quote by Thomas Carlyle:
“If you look deep enough, you will see music; the heart of nature being everywhere music.”
Shira Kammen will be the featured instrumentalist for this first concert.
