Enchanted Forest

Description

There are many techniques for poured acrylics, and it’s fun to experiment with new ones. Enchanted Forest was created by “swiping” with a damp paper towel in two directions from a center strip of black. The other the colors were already laid down in horizontal bands above and below the black swipe paint. After completing the swipes, I used a thin tool to drag up and down, pulling the paint into lines that resembled thin tree trunks. Since I used the same colors above and below the black swipe area, the resulting image is sort of a reflection.
